Welcome to Forres Academy Parent Council.
Forres Academy has an active Parent Council which is always happy to welcome new members.
The Parent Council provides parents with the opportunity to develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils, as well as increasing their understanding of school matters. We represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils. Working together we promote a successful partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents.
Meetings are held at least once a term, with items on the agenda usually including feedback on finances, a report from the Head Teacher and feedback on extra-curricular activities. Other agenda items are varied including topics on Right Respecting Schools, School Improvement, Healthy Eating or other issues of interest to parents.
The Parent Council represents the views of the Parent Forum. All parents/carers of pupils currently attending Forres Academy are members of the Parent Forum. If you would like to become involved or have any issues that you feel should be raised at our next meeting, please refer to our contact page.
